We are always grateful for our donors and supporters, seeing first hand how it is our connections to each other that make our community strong. Because of long term partners such as Metro Vancouver Regional Parks and Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Foundation, local youth are given the opportunity to explore and experience the nature in their own backyard. On behalf of campers and their families, we thank them for their support.
CTS Youth Society would not be possible without the support of Metro Vancouver Regional Parks (MVRP). They cover a significant portion of our operating costs on an annual basis. This financial contribution is only one aspect of the partnership that began with our very first CTS Youth Society campout in Pacific Spirit Regional Park over 20 years ago.
Each year our programs are generously held in four beautiful Metro Vancouver regional parks. Our office team also has the privilege to work from a beautiful heritage house in Burnaby Lake Regional Park. MVRP employees support us in many ways – from senior managers advising our board, to park staff developing meaningful stewardship projects in regional parks. We are grateful for their guidance and for their passion in working alongside us and with our youth.
Another notable supporter of CTS Youth Society is Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Foundation. The Foundation strives to nurture nature, protect parklands, and connect people with their natural environment.
Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Foundation supports CTS Youth programs by raising funds in support of outdoor education in Metro Vancouver Regional Parks. They also provide us with grants that spearhead our environmental stewardship projects in the regional parks.
You can help our youth and our parks grow together. Donations through the Foundation help us deliver camping programs in regional parks that are completely free for every participant. Through gifts to the Foundation, you can help us send more and more kids to summer camp.
Visionaries
We are so grateful to our other long-term visionaries and donors whose generous contributions help youth deepen their connection with each other, their community and their natural world.
