Each year our camp programs are generously held in four Metro Vancouver Regional Parks.
Located in beautiful Burnaby Lake. Participants will have the opportunity to camp in tents in a relatively untouched oasis in the middle of the city. They will have the opportunity to appreciate our wetland wildlife, such as beavers, birds, turtles, and bats galore! Our weekend activities can include working at the CTS garden, invasive species pull, nightly activities on the boardwalk, active games, berry picking, and outdoor cooking.
Located in Surrey, just a short walk to the Serpentine River. Youth will be camping in tents at Raven’s Nest group campsite. There are many activities to enjoy including active games in the big field, hands-on environmental work at the salmon hatchery, barbecued camp food and nightly campfires with new friends at the fire pit.
Located close to UBC and within walking distance of the beaches. Hidden away in the trees of Pacific Spirit Park, CTS youth attending these camps will have the privilege of tent camping in one of Vancouvers most beautiful parks and experience the best Vancouver has to offer from forests to beaches. Activities include environmental work in the bog, beach games, exploring trails in the park, and group cooking.
Located at Capilano River in North Vancouver youth participating in this camp will stay in dorms at Camp Capilano. Although this is an indoor camp participants will spend the majority of their summer days outside enjoying the amazing surroundings. Activities include playing a game of capture the flag in the forest, doing yoga in the bank of Capilano River, building fences, doing invasive pulls, or sitting around the campfire with friends!
